THE TOUR PRICE IS LAND ONLY This tour begins in Hanoi, the cultural and political heart of Vietnam. This is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and it’s full of friendly people. We travel through the farms of the Red River Delta, sail the spectacular Halong Bay and explore central and southern Vietnam and its beautiful coastal and mountain scenery. We also tour farms and villages of the Mekong Delta, visit the amazing Cu Chi tunnels and some relaxing time in Saigon rounds out a wonderful journey through this intriguing country. You have the option of linking this Vietnam tour with Japan (before) and/or Cambodia (after Vietnam).
Day 11 - Today's Itinerary

This morning we take a boat ride to the extraordinary river market of Cai Rang.
Famous as one of the largest on the complex of waterways that comprise the Mekong Delta, this market provides exotic fruits and vegetables for both the domestic and international markets.
There is time to do your own exploration of Cai Rang before an exhilarating fast speed boat ride back to Ho Chi Min City and The Majestic Hotel.
Dinner is included tonight.

THIS TOUR IS FULLY BOOKED TOUR PRICE DOESN'T INCLUDE INTERNATIONAL AIRFARE After a great tour in 2023, we are heading back to eastern Africa again in 2024 – Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. The scenery is spectacular, the accommodation is superb and we will visit some great farms and farmers across eastern Africa. But the real stars of the show are the animals we get to meet in their magnificent natural habitats. To secure space in very remote – but highly sought after – game parks and hotels, please get in early.
This tour will show you – in spectacular fashion – how innovative and hardy farmers are successfully growing crops and livestock in some of the world's most challenging (and stunningly beautiful) regions. The Netherlands will show off its rich culture and hi-tech farming before we venture into Belgium/northern France and the evocative WWI Battlefields of the Somme. We then fly from Brussels into Bergen – the gateway to the stunning fjords of Norway. The breath-taking landscape and troll roads slowly give way to a very "orderly" Scandinavian farming scene as we explore the regional and highly productive areas of Norway and Denmark. This tour ends in Copenhagen with the option of continuing on to other European attractions such as the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
We start at Istanbul which straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait. Its Old City reflects cultural influences of the many empires that once ruled here. After a visit to Gallipoli, the tour will explore the Aegean and take in highlights such as the remarkably preserved Roman city of Ephesus. Greece has plenty of amazing historic ruins as well and also some modern agricultural developments. Then to Italy and all its wonders.
